@kat19481, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you need to reattach the paper width guide on your HP DeskJet 2130 All-in-One printer, follow these steps:

Raise the Input Tray: Begin by raising the input tray of the printer.

Locate the Paper Width Guide: Find the paper width guide, which is typically found on the left side of the input tray.

Position the Guide: Align the paper width guide with its designated slot on the input tray. The guide should fit snugly against the side of the tray.

Secure the Guide: Push the guide gently into the slot until it clicks into place. Make sure it can move freely from left to right while still being securely attached to the tray.

Load Paper and Adjust: Once securely attached, load paper into the tray. Slide the paper width guide to the right until it rests against the edge of the paper. The guide's function is to keep the paper in place without being too tight.

Test for Stability: Before starting any prints, ensure that the guide is stable and moves easily to adjust to different paper sizes.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
