Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I downloaded the software HPEasyStart_11_5_4644_17.exe. When I run it, it stays stuck in "Checking your software needs" for at least 5min. I've tried 3 times now.

To be able to assist you better, I would like to know the following:

  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Is there any antivirus/security software installed on the computer?

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printer connectivity issues.
