I cannot connect to my printer using my pixelbook or the macbook. I am angry and frustrated. I cannot call anyone as there aren't any phone numbers and the foreign one that can be found wants 300 before they can help. What is up with HP. 3 hours of trying to print and I am ready to throw it through the window. I will never by HP again and I have defended them and purchased them for 20 years.

@telisse, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

The foreign numbers you are referring to, could be spam. HP will not charge you $300 for support.

First, connect the printer to the same wireless network as your computers

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

  • Make sure the printer and the MAC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the MAC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

Once connected, refer to this document to know how to print from a Chromebook.

On MAC, install the printer using AirPrint driver as shown in step 2 of this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
