message pops up saying remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge ( nothing has been indicated so i reinstall both) making sure installed correctly. if this message continues to appear replace the ink cartridge. I know they are not out of ink so I don't want to replace them. Also your sight indicates it cannot decipher how much ink is in them. I don't have any replacements.

Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.
Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge
As the issue is related to Instant ink cartridges, I need more information to help you out.
