Hi there

Posting in the hope this might help with anyone experiencing the "Original is jammed in the ADF" message rendering printer unusable.  First try hard reset, hardly ever successful but worth trying first.   If still showing the error, press OK and quickly press Copy, this may take several attempts, once successful in getting into Copy section go through process of copying one sheet. Then return to home. This works for me with error message gone and home page showing and printer working normally again. Hoping it works for you!

  4. Return to Home Screen: After successfully copying, return to the printer’s home screen, and check if the error goes away.

Additional Tips for Fixing ADF Paper Jams:

Check the ADF for Paper Obstructions:

  • Open the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) cover and carefully check for any pieces of paper or debris that may be stuck inside.
  • Gently remove any jammed paper, being cautious not to tear it.

Clean the ADF Rollers:

  • Sometimes, dirty rollers can cause paper to misfeed or jam. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water (or a dedicated printer cleaning solution) to clean the rollers inside the ADF.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they could damage the printer.

Check the Paper Quality:

  • Ensure you are using the right type and size of paper for the ADF. Heavier or textured paper can sometimes get stuck.
  • Always align the paper properly in the ADF tray, ensuring it's not too thick or too thin for the printer's capabilities.

Reset ADF Settings:

  • If your printer has an ADF-specific reset option in the settings menu, it’s worth trying to reset those options, as it can sometimes resolve weird behavior after a jam.

Update Printer Firmware:
