Hi @hepp,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is encountering a serious issue with printing. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem.

Check Ink Levels: Low or empty ink cartridges can cause various printing issues. Make sure your cartridges are full and properly installed.

Run Printer Diagnostics:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Select your printer and go to the diagnostics or troubleshooting section.
  • Follow the instructions to perform a print quality diagnostic or cleaning cycle.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that you are not using a custom print setting that might be causing this issue.
  • Verify that the paper type and size settings match the paper in the tray.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer.
  • You can update the firmware using the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP Support website.

Inspect the Paper Tray:

  • Remove the paper tray and check for any obstructions or damage.
  • Make sure the paper is aligned correctly and not causing any jams.

Clean the Printhead:

  • Refer to the printer's manual or the HP website for instructions on how to clean the printhead.

Check for Software Issues:

  • Ensure that you have the latest drivers and software installed for your printer.
  • You might also want to reinstall the printer software to rule out any software conflicts.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
