@johnonyc, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a paper jam!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like that stuck paper is giving your Tango a bit of a headache. Here’s a way to gently coax it out:

Turn off and unplug the printer – safety first!

Open all accessible doors – ink access door, paper tray, and rear access (if your model has one).

Gently pull the paper – use both hands if possible, pulling slowly in the direction of the paper path to avoid tearing.

Use tweezers carefully – if small scraps remain, grip them lightly and pull straight out. Avoid poking too deep to not damage rollers.

Check rollers and guides – make sure no tiny bits are stuck; sometimes a small piece can block future feeds.

Reload paper and do a test print – after clearing, ensure the tray isn’t overfilled and paper is aligned neatly.

If it still resists, a soft burst of compressed air can help dislodge tiny scraps without touching internal parts.

You’re almost there—think of it like gently unwrapping a stubborn ribbon!

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
