Hi @holiday248,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reset your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 to factory settings and resolve the configuration issue, follow these steps.
Turn on the Printer:
- Make sure the printer is powered on.
Access the Printer's Control Panel:
- On the printer's control panel, find and tap the Setup icon (it looks like a gear or wrench).
Navigate to Printer Maintenance:
- Select Printer Maintenance or Settings (this can vary depending on your model).
Choose Restore or Reset Option:
- Look for an option that says Restore Factory Defaults, Restore Settings, or Reset. The exact wording might vary.
- Select this option.
Confirm the Reset:
- Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm that you want to restore factory settings. This will erase all custom settings, including network settings.
Reconfigure the Printer:
- Once the reset is complete, the printer will restart.
- After it restarts, use the control panel to reconnect the printer to your new mesh network. You can do this by navigating to Network settings and selecting your new network.
Reinstall the Printer Software:
- On your computer, go to the HP website and download the latest printer drivers and software for your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018.
- Follow the installation instructions to set up the printer again on your network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Tried this solution.
The Reset option is greyed out on the printer panel, which is why I reached out to the community.
