Hi @Agilles22,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for Issues with the Ink Cartridge:

  • Replace non-HP or refilled cartridges with genuine HP cartridges.
  • Check the ink levels and replace any low or empty cartridges.

Inspect Cartridge Installation:

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Open the cartridge access door by slipping your fingers into the slot on the left side of the printer.
  • Push in on the front of the magenta cartridge to release it, then pull it towards you to remove it from its slot.
  • Check the magenta cartridge for any damage and ensure it matches the correct color coding (magenta).

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Remove the magenta cartridge and gently clean the electrical contacts with a lint-free cloth.
  • Re-insert the magenta cartridge into its slot, ensuring it clicks into place.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds and plug the printer back in.
  • Turn the printer back on and check if the issue persists.

Replace the Cartridges Again:

  • If the issue continues, try using another new magenta cartridge.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page:

  • Swipe the display on the control panel to scroll to Setup.
  • Touch the Setup icon, then touch Print Reports.
  • Touch Print Quality Report to print a diagnostic page.

I hope this helps.
