The HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer does indeed contain volatile memory (RAM), which is used to temporarily store data related to ongoing print, copy, and scan tasks. This memory is cleared when the printer is powered off or unplugged, ensuring that sensitive information is not retained once the printer is reset.

For your requirement, this should mean that any data held during operations is erased once the printer is turned off, meeting standards that require data to be non-persistent post-power cycle.
