@RIYA08, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP Ink Tank 319 is neither printing nor scanning, you can follow these troubleshooting steps to address the issue:

Check Power and Connections:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to a power source and is turned on. The power button should be lit.
  • Check that the USB cable is securely connected between the printer and your computer, or verify the wireless connection if applicable.

Check for Error Lights:

  • Observe the control panel for any blinking lights or error codes. The printer's manual or support page can provide specific guidance based on the error indicators.

Paper and Printhead Issues:

  • Open the printer's front door and check for any paper jams. If there is a paper jam, gently remove the paper, making sure not to tear it.
  • Ensure that the printhead latch is closed properly and the printheads are installed correctly. Do not open the printhead latch unless instructed to do so.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure ink tanks have sufficient ink. If the ink is low, refill the tanks with the correct HP ink.

Software Issues:

  • Make sure you have installed the latest HP printer software from 123.hp.com.
  • Open the HP software, ensure the printer is added and the drivers are up-to-date.

Restart Printer and Computer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and power it on.
  • Restart your computer to reset the connection to the printer.

Test Page:

  • Attempt to print a network configuration page or a test page using the control panel to see if the printer is operational without the computer.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
