Hi @connek,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Ink Levels:

  • Make sure that the ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Replace any low or empty cartridges with new HP cartridges.

Run Printhead Cleaning:

  • Perform a printhead cleaning. This can typically be done from the printer’s control panel by navigating to the maintenance or settings menu and selecting "Clean Printhead."

Reinstall or Align Cartridges:

  • Remove the ink cartridges and inspect them for any protective tape that might still be attached. Reinstall them securely.
  • Align the cartridges via the printer’s utility software or control panel option.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers for your printer model and operating system.

Check for Print Queue Issues:

  • Go to your computer’s print queue and remove any stuck print jobs that might be causing the printer to print continuously.
  • Try restarting the print spooler service on your computer if the issue persists.

Reset Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in. Power it on and try printing again.

Check Paper Settings:

  • Make sure the paper size and type settings in the printer’s driver/software match the paper loaded in the tray.

Test with Another Document:

  • Try printing a different document or file to see if the issue is specific to one document or all printing tasks.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer on the HP Support website, as this can sometimes resolve printing issues.

I hope this helps.
