Hi @cooky1611,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer displays a "load paper" message despite having paper already loaded, it could be caused by several issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem.

Check Paper Tray

  • Ensure the paper is correctly aligned and not overfilled in the paper tray.
  • Use clean, flat, and properly sized paper as recommended by the printer's specifications.
  • Adjust the paper guides so they snugly fit the paper, but don't press too tightly.

Paper Jams

  • Inspect for any paper jams or debris inside the printer, especially around the paper path.
  • Open the printer's access doors and gently remove any stuck paper or small fragments.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then reconnect the printer and turn it on again.
  • Try printing again to see if the issue resolves.

Clean the Paper Rollers

  • Dust or dirt on the paper rollers can prevent paper from being properly fed into the printer.
  • Refer to the printer's user manual for instructions on cleaning the rollers. Typically, this involves removing the paper tray and using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to clean the rollers.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Check for any firmware updates for your printer on the HP Support website.
  • Sometimes, bugs or glitches in older firmware versions can cause issues like this.

Check the Paper Sensor

  • The paper sensor might be faulty. You can try lightly tapping the area where the paper feeds in or adjusting the paper tray.

Try a Different Paper Type

  • If you're using a special type of paper (e.g., photo paper, labels), switch to regular printer paper to see if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
