CLX-6260 - Scanning not working on Mac

Just moving from PC to Mac. Printer works on Mac but unable to scan. On my PC I was using Easy Printer manager to scan, worked pefectly. I cant find anywhere to get Mac version of this, so installed the scanning software in the printer folder using Finder as one other forum told me to do but it wont scan - document goes through the ADF and then the scan window doesnt show the scan. If possible i would much rather use a more user friendly software such as Easy manager

Hi Copperwasher, which OS verion do you have in your MAC, if you post the OS version (Mojave, High Sierra, etc) I could check the most compatible software version, anyways I would sugest you to use the software "Samsung Easy Document Creator" the extension of Easy Printer Manager to be able to scan.

I'm a Mac virgin so it took some sidewards thinking but I found that i am on Mojave 10.14.3

I was using the Easy Prinetr Manager on my pc and i found the mac version - BUT when i downloaded it from the website my mac tells me that the program was for a pc

I have 0% knowledge of anything computer so i am now lost!

Thank you for replying Copperwasher, Since your version of MAC OS 10.14.3 is very recent, the most compatible version you could try is the version V1.00.26 of Samsung Easy Document Creator, here I share the link:

Where you can get the software, just copy and paste it on any web browser (Safari, Google Chrome, etc) and try this version, you will need to unzip the downloaded folder and follow the location in your uncompressed folder : ScanApplication > MAC_Installer > MAC_EDC > Easy Document Creator.pkg

Hopefully this would allow you to scan!
