Samsung Xpress C460W

 

Hello,

i got a Samsung Xpress C460W color laser printer as a gift, it prints black and white perfectly but when I print anything in color the prints are defective, with smearing down the page and thin white vertical lines, see picture below.

The problem appear with all colors exept black.

The color toners are all at 80% except black which is low at about 10%. I tried shaking them and even changed the drum to a new one thinking it was responsible, but the error persists. It’s hardware-related, same error no matter which computer prints to it.

 

Anyone knows whats wrong with it and how I can fix it?

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.

I will try and assist.Have you done a full calibration on the printer?You should have the option to to colour calibration on the printer.Maybe also try and upgrade the firmware of the printer to the latest release date firmware.
