My Samsung SCX-4824FN printer was working fine on my home wireless network, but it appears the Ethernet port stopped working in the last couple of weeks. It was connected to my Telstra Gateway wireless router, but that Ethernet connection no longer works. I've checked the cable and tried switching with other working cables and router ports, but the printer port is out of action. I'm not sure what caused the problem around the turn of the year, but I was prompted to re-enter the date and time in the printer panel on 1st January 2020 and the Ethernet port hasn't worked since. As a workaround I've resorted to a USB connection directly to a laptop and Windows device sharing, but the cable is a nuisance and hazard. Any ideas why the Ethernet port would stop working and what I can try to fix it?
