Product: Xpress M2070FW
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This printer has always had a legion of issues, but let's start here. I'm trying to update the firmware. I got the driver from the HP site, and ran according to the instructions which, of course, did nothing. So I searched and found that I had to put it in "DOWNLOAD MODE" (a step Samsung/HP does not mention in the documentation, but which seems to help some people), and then ran it, but there's still no success. How can I update the firmware?

If you can try running firmware upgrade from a Windows 7 computer.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Win7 pc available. Win7 is past end of life. Are you saying this software doesn't work on Windows 10?

Every time I had the same problem running firmware update on win10 was successfully resolved with firmware upgrade from win 7 device.
