My HP Notebook does not recognize my Samsung SSD T3. It was first used on the same HP computer. I thought it was borken, b ut The SSD is working correctly on our MAC. The cable is fine and the USB ports on the HP are operating fine with other devices--bluetooth mouse.
The disk does not show in the device management area or disk management area.
Hi. Did you ever figure this out? I have a new X360 Specter 15T and it does not even see my Samsung T3 SSD when connected to either the USB-C or Thunderbolt ports. It connects fine to a Macbook Pro using the Thunderbolt port and the same cable.
My laptop WILL recognize the drive properly when I use a USB-C to USB-A cable and connect to the USB-A port.
