Samsung Xpress SL-C1860FW Color Laser Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Like the title says, the latest firmware for my printer caused it to stick on the Samsung logo and now the thing is useless.  I want HP to give me a new printer equal to this one.  I still have $200 worth of toner and it is also useless.  What kind of half assed company screws people like this and then cancels every support ticket I create with no resonse or remedy.  I believe a class action suit is needed here since HP is so big and could care less.

The current firmware showing on the website, September 2017,  predates HP purchasing Samsung's printer division. I am not trying to minimize your issue, but if they did not develop the firmware it is not reasonable to blame them entirely for it. If it had been causing a lot of problems HP would have withdrawn it ages ago. There is a possibility that this might be coincidence that your printer failed at that time. Have you attempted to perform any sort of reset. Search for a service manual online as that will provide instructions on how to do that. There might also be a video on YouTube.
