I have replaced the fuser unit with a genuine spare but the red warning light is still lit and the display still says “Replace Fuser Soon”.
I have tried to get to get into tech mode as suggested in the service manual but the machine does not respond to the suggested key presses on the printer.

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.
I under stand that you have the manual with the buttons to press to get into service mode.Do try that again but remember that the sequence that you press the buttons must be quite fast.Retry this a few times and you will get into the service mode. The buttons pressing must be quick in that sequence.Hope that helps.
