Hello, I have a c4060fx that does not turn on, it gets stuck at startup with the message: "loading" and it never finishes. I need the recovery to reinstall it on the HDD. Thank you

I have a link I can send you via private message. Just waiting for a moderator to enable this feature on your account. Based on the message there is a good chance you will need to replace the hard drive on this unit. Please note that these do not support SSD drives so you will need a standard old school spinning drive.

Hi Repairatrooper - I just posted a new topic with exactly the same issue - I wish I'd scrolled a little before creating a new one.
I also have a C4060FX in which the HDD has just failed. Clearly these drives are coming to the end of their working life. Unfortunate you mention SSD drives don't work - I have a stack of them and I've already dropped one in! Any idea if a 500GB HDD is normally accepted by the firmware? 320GB is hard to come by new.
I'd also love a copy of the recovery image if possible. Many thanks!

To answer your question in case someone else is viewing this and wondering about drive size. Yes I have installed 500Gb drives in some Samsung units and they worked fine.
