The SMPS gives no 24V DC output. The 5V DC output is OK. All  fuses are OK. The printer is dead without 24 V DC.

I have over 30 years experience in constructing and repairing electronics, but without schematic for the SMPS I will not succeed in my repair attempts. I need a hint of where to find the schematic for the SMPS JC44-00223A.

There is no 24V on SMPS without the signal from the mainboard. The mainboard controls ON-OFF of 24V on SMPS.

I'm fully aware of that the SMPS gets an enable signal (pin 2 on Con 4) from the main board in order to switch on the 24 VDC. I have measured the 24 VDC output from the SMPS with a DVM with the SMPS is in place in the printer. Result 0 Volt.

Shall pin 2 on Con 4 be set to gnd or +5 VDC in order to enable the 24 V output? (I have not tried)

I now have "borrowed" a working SMPS from another working Samsung CLP-680 series printer and that spots the fault to the SMPS since the printer is fully functional with the borrowed SMPS in place.

Since the non-functional SMPS is not dead, it gives 5 VDC and shows no sign of burnt or swollen components, I would try to repair it. My guess is that the fault can be localised to the circuitry that enable the 24 VDC output, but I need the schematic to get any further. Any idea where to find it? Or shall I just surrender and get a replacement SMPS?

The schematic is hardly any rocket-science. There are several suppliers that offer refurbished units, so the schematic must be spread among them.

I will probably order a new SMPS for this printer and later maybe give the faulty unit a try even if I don't have access to the schematic. It is of course much  more time-consuming applying reverse engineering and greater risc of failure.
