Since there is no m.2 slot in my laptop so can i i remove my dvd writer and and place the samsung evo 860 ssd there and does in support sata |||

I understand that you would like to remove the optical drive and install the SSD.

 

HP will not recommend installing the SSD on the place of the optical drive.

 

If you wish to install. you can install the SSD. For that, it required the same caddy.

You should have no problem with that, I did a very similar thing with my Zbook Workstation, however I put the SSD drive in place of the standard drive to enhance boot speed and used the stock drive for programs. You can find caddies for this conversion all over Ebay and sites like Alibaba.
