Hello,
I have Samsung m2825dw laser printer connected to a power surge protector unit. My surge protector stop working properly after m2825dw was hooked up to it for some months, so I got a new one and connected m2825dw to it. After sometime, currently surge protector is working well for all devices. If i turn on my printer, it shuts down entire surge protector electricity, if i turn everything off, and turn on the printer, make it run, then run my PC load up the document and click print, when it tries to print the page, it again shuts down all electric equipment i have on the surge protector. i have connected m2825dw to another outlet still samething, no difference, i cannot get it work. Somehow its pulling so much electric that it shuts everything and itself down, what can I do? Firmware is already latest, PC software is already latest, even when I try to print on my mobile printer does samething.

There is a reason that the instructions guides for printers state "do not plug into a surge protector". A surge protector is designed to clamp the flow of power when it detects a large inrush of current, exactly the type of situation a printer creates when it powers on the fuser. Laser printers should always be plugged directly into the wall. Even a very small printer can draw over 10 amps of power when starting or warming up the fuser.
