There could be more reasons why is your printer printing in full black. Some of them are defective toner, defective toner contacts, poor toner contacts, HVPS board, power supply, mainboard ...

HVPS stands for High Voltage Power Supply it is used to create high power voltage to charge toner rollers for developing an image on the toner cartridge.
