When I print a document the right-hand side of the page is faded.  I produced a 4-colour document to check if it was related to a specific cartridge but all 3 colours and black are faded on the right-hand side of the page.  Is there a fix for this problem?

Make sure that the power source you are connected to is providing enough current. Laser printers draw a lot of power and if they are on a line with other devices it can cause power starvation which results in erratic operation. Also in dirty environments dirt on scanner lenses can reduce quality. It is also possible that either the transfer belt or the secondary transfer roller are not contacting properly or are damaged.

Many thanks for responding.  In fact I managed to fix the problem by powering off the printer, powering on again, and going through the actions for replacing a cartridge a couple of times.
