Hi @Aditi12341,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting a die to Jam error on the Samsung Xpress SL-C480FW. To resolve the issue, please try the steps shared below and let me know if this helps.
Turn Off the Printer
- Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall for safety.
- Check the Paper Tray
- Remove the paper tray completely.
- Look for any jammed, crumpled, or misfed paper.
- Gently pull out any stuck paper, making sure not to tear it.
- Check the Output Tray
- Look inside the output tray area.
- Remove any visible paper fragments or debris.
- Open the Front Cover and Toner Cartridge Area
- Open the front cover carefully.
- Remove the toner cartridge(s).
- Inspect the inside — check the rollers and paper path for any jammed pieces.
- Remove any bits of paper you see by pulling slowly and evenly.
- Check the Rear Access Panel
- Open the rear cover (if your printer has one).
- Look inside for jammed paper.
- Remove it carefully.
- Check the Scanner Unit (if applicable)
- If you were using the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), open the ADF cover.
- Check for any jammed paper inside the feeder.
- Reinstall Everything
- Place the toner cartridges back in.
- Close all covers and trays securely.
- Plug in and Power On
- Turn the printer back on and check if the error clears.
