Product serial numbers

HP Recommended
Samsung SL-M4070FR
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Why is the serial number different from web interface serial number for this device?

Sometimes on the label, you might have last 2 (or 4) more digits than the serial number on the interface. The first 10-12 set of digits should match on your printer label and on the web interface.

 

If there are a lot of differences in serial number then you might have a printer that someone during it usage due to error or defect replaced the main board ( new main board = new serial number).
