Product: samsung SCX 8128

SAMSUNG SCX 8128 printer restarting and fuser assembly error message shown on the display.

1st problem started when fuser assembly error message shown on the display and asked for replacement after one month I am unable to replace the fuser unit and a new problem start which is restarting again and again.

 

please help!!!!!

I will try and assist.If this machine is less than one year old i would return this machine for a replacement.Hope this will help.

I am A certified Copier Technician.

Observation:

The printer is restarting automatically.

Fuser assembly replaced for this problem.

After fuser replacement printer displaying “Imaging Unit failure error”

 

Workarounds:

  • Checked the site voltage, found it is proper.
  • Cleaned and refixed the imaging unit. No physical damage to it.
  • Check without connecting the toner& Drum, the same issue observed.
  • Checked the printer in another location same issue.
  • Also checked the Laser Scanner Unit(LSU).
  • Cleaned and refixed the power supply card and logic card side connection.
  • After that also same issue observed

It would help to know what code is being displayed with the error. If it is C3-1312, it is possible that the CRUM chip on the imaging unit has failed, requiring replacement of the imaging unit. The CRUM chip communicates via the jack/connector in the back (looks similar to a network jack). Check to see if the jack or connector (at the back of the cavity) are damaged physically.

And as Copier-Pro suggests, if the machine is less than one year old, definitely contact tech support for repair or replacement.

This problem related to OPE PCB,you have to replace the pcb.
