Hello
I face a printer driver issue on my win 11 laptop.
This pc was under Win 10 and I had to migrate it to win 11.
My scx 4300 was working on win 10 (scan and print) and as far as I remeber when moved to win 11 (upgrade) it was still ok.
I had to make a clean install of my system and since then I have issue with the printing.
It starts, the job goes to the spoller for a few seconds and nothing else happen.
The scanner works percetly.
I've uninstalled the driver (which is a win10 64bits) and reinstalled with no luck.
Any clues on what could happen/wht could be done. (out of saying that as there si no driver for win 11, its probably not compatible :-).
there are tons of devices that are using win 10 drivers on win 1 machines.
Thanks
JM

For printing you should use the HP Universal Print Driver as the 4300 series is supported.

Hello
thanks fro the quick,reply.
That's what I've done.
The installer detects the printer, install the driver.
Its correctly idenified in the device manager, the good icon, everything as usual, but no printing.
It send the job, but no reaction from the printer.
I have tried to pritn via USB from my smartphone, and it works.
So the issue is not the printer.
I fear something related to win 11 and an upgrade.
Any idea on how to solve this ?
Best regards
JM

Hello
tried again this mornig after reinstall of win 11 and full update.
Same issue, scanner is detected and works with the basic windows app
Printer don't.
Looks loke one more working device that I'll use only on my Linux laptos.
If nothing solves this issue.
Best regards
