Samsung ProXpress SL-C4062FX Color Laser Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

While updating the printer to the latest firmware 66.07 (needed to resolve an issue with SMTP authentication), the firmware failed after 1 hour of trying to apply.

Now, the printer boots, tries to initialize and then powers down - repeat - repeat (it did this all night and still doing it this morning).

I beleive I need to do a machine recovery on this, but don't have the necessary files.  The printer is completely useless at this point.  I have also called HP and they have directed me to "partners" in Canada, none of which are still in business.

How can I gain access to recovery files that HP has (I have seen posts from 2022 to links which no longer work).

Help? Please?

Thank you for that!  After removing the left side panel (4 screws) I was able to unplug the HDD SATA cable and gain access to recovery options and the details you sent via PM were exactly what I needed!
