I have an error on the printer screen and I cannot find the first clue on internet about this. Please help...

Message : "PrnPageCtrl_Video.c  1485 PESY"

Everything seems going ok but as soon I press copy, color or BW, it start scan for 3 sec then that error message appear. Same if I try to print a report from the menu ...

Disconnect the network or usb cable, restart and see if you can copy. There is not documentation for this error on my tech site, I would suggest that you try updating the firmware as a first step.

Hi Repairatrooper. I did update the firmware but with no improvement at all.

 

When I ask to print a bw copy, it starts scanning and at about 75% of the scan, I got that error on the screen and the printer "system initialise"... When I ask a colour copy, the scan (mobile light reading the document) is slower to move than BW (obviously) but stop nearly at the same place (75% of the scanning surface, more or less 1cm from the BW copy). But if I ask to print a test page, there is no scan involved but the error showed is the same... I can post a link to a video of the whole thing if that can help...)
