Samsung CLX 6260 doesn't work post Big Sur update. When will the new drivers be ready please

Hi. 
after weeks of searching and hair pulling I got a workable workaround.

 

Run firmware update to version 4.0.02.29. This adds the AirPrint functionality to the printer.  My printer now seen by Mac, MacBook iPad and iPhone.  MAC running 10.5. and Big Sur on MacBook.

 

 After being given the run around and denial by 3 support engineers I was given a phone HP  uK number to call by Samsung [phone removed] Printer Support with HP | Samsung United Kingdom 

 

They supplied me with the firmware file

 

 4.0.4.05 still doesn’t work
