Product: Samsung M2020W
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a new out of the box MLT 111S printer cartridge into my Samsung M2020W printer and, when the door is closed, I get a red light and a loud grining noise. What are my options? How can I fix this?

Do you still have old toner? Is grinding noise present with the old toner?

I do. I should have mentioned that. I can put the old toner in with no problems. I was going to try a second new toner (none are refill toners), but what would be the point of opening another new without diagnosing the first?

It's a toner problem.

Compare the right side of the toners one that works and the one that makes noise, you probably have something like plastic pin broken on the toner that makes noise.
