Samsung Printer M2885FW & HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi All,

I have a Samsung Printer M2885FW connected to my Wireless Sky Router which simply does not wake up automatically when I try to print from my HP Envy Curved Computer.

It works just fine but every time I have to Mannually Wake the printer up first, only then does it print.

This is unacceptable in 2019 !!!!

Please can anyone help, it is so frustrating

Thanks in advance for any responses

Hello J_rafiq

Since your printer is connected to the network already you can modify the setting from the SyncThru Web Service, you can open it from your computer on a Web browser by typing in the IP address assigned to the printer (ie. 192.168.xx.xxx), once you have the server open you will need to login

ID: admin

Password: sec00000

Then select settings > machine settings > turn the "wake up event" on > click on "apply" to save the change

Let me know if you are able to modify the seeting.

Regards.
