Samsung M4030ND

Hello,

I have a Samsung M4030ND with a fuser warning. Display says replace fuser unit. Have replaced fuser unit and cleared fuser counter in Tech Menu. Counter will not clear and display still says replace fuser unit.

How to reset the counter(s)?

Could you help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance.

I solve the issue, it's a bug firmware.

You can donwload the firmware that solves the issue here

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/SL-M4030ND/M4030ND_V3.00.01.01_0401125_1.00.zip

After upgrade the printer, the counter is restore to 0.

Hello,

I try it several times but it does not work.

I try to reset on other unit (but the same model) and it does not work.

That is very strange.

Printers without display and buttons have software for resetting count, that software is only for authorised services, not available for customers.

This model has display and buttons. I can enter to tech menu and select clear fuser counter, but after clearing, the value does not go to zero.

Thanks.
