I've got a couple of Samsung M4080FX printers where users used to be able to do scan to email using Exchange Online. Ever since Microsoft enforced the TLS 1.2 requirement, they've stopped working.
HP have said that the latest firmware will support TLS 1.2 (https://support.hp.com/ee-en/document/c06168178), however the latest firmware version on the site (V5.C6.04) still doesn't support TLS 1.2 as far as I can tell. If it does, there's no way to force the printer to use it that I can see.
Does anyone know of a way to enforce TLS 1.2 on this model, or is HP hiding the firmware version that supports TLS 1.2?

Yeah, the posted firmware predates the announcement and the readme file for that revision of the firmware makes no mention of TLS levels. I have escalated this post to the moderators in hopes someone with HP can provide some information.

Checking the HP FTP site that I have access to shows no firmware updates after March 2017. Notes on the revision say nothing about TLS at all.

I gather the mods haven't replied. I'm still seeing a release date of 2017 for the latest firmware.
The frustrating part is that the KB article still says this model will support TLS 1.2. Something needs an update (either the firmware or the KB)!
