Product: CLX-9301NA

I have a bad hard drive in a Samsung MultiXpress CLX-9301NA. The procedure to replace the drive requires a usb drive that contains "unix script files" and a "HDD image file".

 

I am having a hard time finding these files to complete the hard drive replacement.

 

 

Any help is appreciated.

When you create HDD image on USB drive those files are created by the printer and then saved on the USB drive.

From another user here, I found this sited (navigated from his link to the one for my printer:

 

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/SCX-8030ND/

 

For other printers, just go to ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers and search from there.
