Samsung SCX-4833 fax how i can set speed fax to 9600 to work on voip line

I have a  analogic line ttropugh optical fiber trough voip router

my fax have problem to work,

i read on ricoh an lexmark that suggest to resolve  disable ECM mode, and set speed of fax to 9600.

ecm mode on setup i can disable, but there isnt a option to set speed of fax!

u know how ????

Hi,

Press tehFax icon and then the Menu button to access the fax settings (Page 32 of its user guide), under Fax Setup select Modem Speed to reduce the fax speed to Slow / 9600.

The  recommended modem speed by Samsung support is 4.8 kbps.

Try lowering it to that speed and let ,e know if that solves your issue.

italian language display show:

menu:

  fax function:

    darkness, contrast, resolution, digital dimension,  multiply send, delay send, and others function like video...

but modem speed there isnt!

and after :

fax setup 

send

receive

may be change in english show others funcitions like modem speed???

is impossible to find modem speed on menu! 

now menu is in italian language... u think that in english there is option that are not included on italian???

a my dubt but would be crazy!

The modem speed is actually inside the fax setup option, you can check the Menu overview on the printer's manual:

on the manual the following instructions are

page 33 menu for scx-4833FD

- fax setup dont have modem speed

page 34 menu for SCX-4833FR/SCX-5637FR

- fax setup dont have modem speed

page 36 menu for SCX-5737FW 

- fax setup have modem speed, but is not my printer

So i ask there is a way to set modem speed on scx-4833FD, because there is not this option on LCD setup and also html web setup.
