Samsung Xpress M2885FW - Print quality problem not solved by troubleshooting suggestions

HP Recommended
Xpress M2885FW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer is printing the left half of the page faintly.  I have tried all the suggestions in teh troubleshooting manual to no avail i.e. cleaning printer, changing paper type, making sure toner save is off etc etc.  The cartrige is over 50% full and has only printed about 1500 pages.

I will try and assist. This can be that the laser unit is dirty or that the drum is not getting charged properly.Maybe add a picture of the problem print for the technicians to do a better fault analysis.Hope this will help.

Sorry my scanner software doesn't allow me to reduce the file size so a test scan is too big to attach, either as jpg or png.  This forum is a bit rubbish - veyr difficult to use.  Have complained about it in teh survey!
