Samsung Xpress M2885FW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Samsung Xpress M2885FW enters in stand-by after while. And after another while he "sleeps" like death:
Then he does't respond to my pc, he is no longer seen in the wifi network and he doesn't respond to any hard key (even wake-up, scan, or copy).
Only thing I can do is unplugging and plug in the power again. Then he'll boot up, reconnects to wifi and is ready as normal.

Do you have any hints what can be causing this problem, or better: to avoid this?

Thanks,
Mike.

Spoiler
I have the same problem. It's a known problem and there is no good solution. You can try this but it didn't work for me:

Login to SynchThru Web Service

Go to: Settings>Machine Settings>System>Setup

Set Wakeup Event to On
Make sure System Timeout  - Enable is not checked

Thanks for your advise!
But after posting here, I've discovered the "new" firmware from July 2020, which was newer than the installed one.
(I didn't expect HP to update the firmwares of the old Samsung printers. 😲)
So I've tried it and since six days my printer kept online and the problem seems to be gone. 🤞

(BTW: Your options are the opposite for me: wakeup event off/timeout on. I'll try to change them, if the problem will reappear.)

Maybe a firmware update will help you too:
