Samsung Xpress SL-C480W - macOS mojave 10.14 - scanning in color with native

Dear Community/Support,
I would like to report a problem with using a scanner in Samsung Xpress C480W with a native macOS scan app.
I have a macOS 10.14.3 up-to-date.
I've installed printer and scanner drivers for macOS 10.14 from https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/samsung-xpress-sl-c480-color-laser-multifunction-pr...
I went to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Added new printer
When adding a new printer, once it's discovered in the wireless network, I tried "Use: Generic PCL Printer" and also "Use: Airprint" with the same effect.
Now I go to Printers & Scanners > Select my printer > Select "Scan" tab, and use native macOS scanner.
On this "basic" view I don't have a preview and trying to scan, I get an error.
BUT when I open the "advanced" view, I can see a preview in black&white and also in colour. But only scanning in black&white is successful. Scanning in colour is failing and not saving a file.
Error says:
> Scanner reported an error.
> An error occurred during scanning.
> The scanner failed to complete the scan.
Please see screenshots below.
Not sure if it's caused by Printer drivers or macOS mojave bug? Let's hope a fix will come soon 🙂

I think it was macOS bug. After a recent system update, I tried to scan in colour again and it worked. Tested on two macbooks. Can't be a coincidence!
Current system version on both machines is: macOS 10.14.4 (18E226)
