Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a samsung clx-6260nd and it keeps losing connection (via network initially and then via usb too). There is an old thread about this that talks of a factory reset as the solution. How do I do a factory  reset on this machine?

thanks anyone

Thanks repairatrooper but no joy with this.

Any other ideas what may be causing the machine to constantly go offline? If I reboot it connects and then I can print a page or document but then nothing. If I reboot to try to scan it starts the process but then stops with an i/o error - every time!

I've tried new drivers/software/firmware and I think I have the most up to date and relevant of these but there are so many its hard to know the right ones.

Standard things to check.

plugged into the wall with no other high draw appliances on the same circuit

When it stops printing are you still able to ping the printer over network or access the embedded web server?

It may come down to the fact that the formatter is failing, that is often what we find in cases like this.
