Scanning problem

Product Name: Xpress M2885 FW
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I need to scan my document via my own network. It works when I use the USB-cable. My problem is that I normally have the printer in another room with no cable connection. 

The printer works ok with normal printing without cable but the scanning tells me that the scanning is not avilable. I have serch for som drivings for scanning but with no result. I have contacted your help desk on Monday Novemeber 6 and Monday November 13 but with no answers.
