Samsung X4300 Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an X4300 printer (new) with which I am trying to use scanner software with.

With NO authentication everything works fine, however when authentication is turned on

it keeps asking me for a user account. Whatever I put in does not work (Both ID only and Username/Password)

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

All permissions have been given to the account. I have also tried the admin account

Are you scanning to a folder? If so you need to input a username and password that can access the folder location.  You may need to use the following syntax for username:   domain\username. Where domain is the actual domain name of your network or the name of your computer if you do not have a domain.

Thank you for your response.

No. I am not using a folder. I am using an application to access the scanner across a network.

The application can see the scanner and if I turn authentication off it will work.

But I cannot get it to work if I turn authentication off
