We have a relatively recent install of the Samsung printer. It's now printing a solid black line about 2/3 of the way down on the page for print outs and copies. It's not a stray black line one might get from a scord drum etc. This looks like an intentional border line of some sort. Wierd part is, it doesn't happen if I do a Web print from the User panel, and it doesn't show up on and of the diagnostic print outs. I've tried resetting the user temp & spool files, to no avail.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  I've enclosed a photo of a "copy" which shows the line. Print outs also show the line if the page content goes down that far. If the text content is short (top half of page) no line shows on the print out.Black line on copyBlack line on copy

Strange fix - but despite the evenly formed line on the page, it turned out to be a evenly formed line of dust/dirt particles on the upper scan window. Strangely it had adhered to the glass and formed the line.  It was cleaned off and the line issue has thus been solved.
