will my laptop work faster and properly if i put samsung 990 pro 1tb ssd in my laptop? will it work ?

Yes, but you must keep in mind that this disk is Gen 4 and your laptop uses Gen 3 disks, although you can put that disk will reduce the speed, but clearly it will be faster than using an HDD that you currently have.

You forgot to tell them they will have to clone their existing HDD to the SSD to keep the HP Pre-installed OS/License/Recovery image and software ?
