Product: Samsung Xpress C480FW Wireless NFC 4-in-1 Colour Laser Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I see that HP has now released a printer driver for Samsung.  When I click on the Printer Driver.pkg file to install it, I get this message:

"Printer Driver.pkg" can't be opened because Apple cannot check if for malicious software.  

This software needs to be updated.  Contact the developer for more information.

Safari downloaded this file today at 08.40 from ftp.hp.com

 

Please could you supply a printer driver that I can install on my MacBook.

I went to John Lewis today and they accepted the return of the printer and refunded the purchase price under the two year guarantee.  While there, the technician (lovely chap!) tried to install the 64 bit driver on their Apple macbook with Catalina.  to get past this message you need to click on the apple logo, then go to security settings, wait for the .pkg to appear and then say you want to install anyway.  Unfortunately the 64 bit driver didn't solve the problem of printing lots of pages with funny symbols.
