Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using HP Scan and Capture (as well as Windows Scanner) on my HP Color LaserJet Pro m477fnw: When I scan from the flatbed with the resolution set to 300 dpi, the resulting image is actually saved at 96 dpi. I've run the scan doctor and did all the troubleshooting in the HP Support Assistant, and searched the community forums, but I cannot find a solution to this problem.

If you can do so,

Try / Consider:

Paint (mspaint)

Tested the setup and results using Officejet Pro 9025.

Works - scan does take awhile at 1200 DPI - will take less time at lower setting.
