I am looking for a way to scan 35mm slides to digital files on my Envy Photo 7855 All-in-One. Any response would be appreciated. Ideas?

You really need a scanner designed to do this. Those scanners will have a lighted backing that illuminates the slides. Another solution is that if you have a good digital camera there are light tables out there now that you set the slides on and then take a digital picture. A good camera will often provide better results than a scanner.

Love the light table idea.

I have this to offer - I've never heard back from anyone who actually tried it.

The method has been around for years

I guess I’ll have to come up with a flat scanner. I appreciate your reply/information. Thanks so much.

I appreciate this info, as well. Thank you.

I would try that but would be tempted to install an led light in it. I used to have an epson scanner that had the lighted lid but it was a victim of end of support and no workable drivers for newer OSs.

The little light is a good addition to what I've always thought to be a clever idea.

Maybe someone will build one and report back.
